LiveScottish Football transfer LIVE: Celtic furlough entire U18 squad, Rangers urged to give ace new deal, Hibs set to sign midfielder
The action on the field starts back up on Friday evening as Morton and Dunfermline meet in the Scottish Championship.
Leading up to that encounter it has been a hugely eventful time in Scottish football. We’ve had football below the second tier being postponed, the fallout from Celtic’s trip to Dubai, Lawrence Shankland’s wonder goal for Dundee United and Livingston v Aberdeen being postponed once again while the players were getting ready to go on to the pitch.
Normally January is reserved for big transfer stories and the speculation which swirls around linking clubs with this player and looking to move on that player. That has been mere background noise in the last week or so.
This weekend will be the first which sees just the top two tier played until the end of January at the latest.
We will have all the latest from around the SPFL throughout the day, including any transfer speculation, as it happens.
