Such is the nature of the transfer window there are days where surprise transfers are mooted, rumours of big bids and strong interest. Wednesday was certainly one of those days. There was talk of a £4million Qatar move for Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic while Leeds United were linked with a £10million offer for Rangers’ Ryan Kent.
In addition, Lyndon Dykes’ move to QPR was finally confirmed and St Mirren bolstered their attack with a striker signing. Will it be another busy day on the transfer front with teams keen to strengthen?

Aberdeen keen on ex-Inverness star
Aberdeen are interested in forward Marley Watkins, report the Daily Record.
The ex-Inverness CT star, who won the Scottish Cup with the Highlanders, is currently with Bristol City.
Dons boss Derek McInnes is keen to recruit the player on loan until January but faces competition.
Lille confirm £16m Morelos bid
Lille president Gerard Lopez has confirmed the club did put in a £16m bid for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Interest has cooled in the Colombian of late but the French club have not ruled out returning for the player.
Lopez told TalkSPORT: "We have (bid £16m). He’s a good player, otherwise we wouldn’t bid for him but we had a primary target who was Jonathan David who we got and he fits into a certain system with a number of players already around him.
“We have a transfer window which is longer than usual. The key thing for us now is to analyse how what we have already comes together and that’s something the coach and Luis Campos are looking at before we make any other decisions.”

Leeds chief delivers transfer message
Leeds United chief Angus Kinnear has revealed the club are “confident” of landing their key targets.
The Premier League new boys have been linked with a £10m move for Ryan Kent which he did not deny.
Kinnear told Sky Sports: "We are confident of getting the three to four key areas that we want to strengthen, we are confident of bringing those people in during the window."
No Hibs move for international
Hibs have been linked with a move for Wigan and Wales midfielder Lee Evans.
However, according to journalist Alan Temple “there’s nothing in the rumours”.
DONE DEAL: HUll City sign Docherty
Greg Docherty has completed his move from Rangers to Hull City.
Mulumbu set for Killie return
Youssouf Mulumbu could be set for a THIRD spell at Kilmarnock.
The ex-Celtic midfielder has impressed in two previous spells and, according to the Daily Record, is in talks with Alex Dyer over a return.
Mulumbu didn’t play at all last season but would add invention to the Killie midfield.
Aberdeen eye quick striker deal
Derek McInnes has been left with a selection headache ahead of tonight’s Aberdeen clash with St Johnstone.
All four recognised strikers are unavailable to the Dons boss.
It has left him with youngster Michael Ruth and playing either Niall McGinn or Lewis Ferguson in attack.
However, he has told the Press and Journal he is still working in bringing one in before the match.
Rangers eye ‘outstanding’ Premier League midfielder
Rangers are reportedly keen on Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram.
The Athletic report the Ibrox club are one of three keen on the 26-year-old.
Despite a deal until 2021, there has bee contract issues with the Blades.
Last season, Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder described the player as ‘outstanding’.
Rogic to be used as part of Duffy deal?
On Wednesday it emerged that Tom Rogic was nearing a £4m move to Qatar.
Negotiations are reportedly not that far down the line and the Australian could be used by Celtic in a deal to bring Shane Duffy to the club from Brighton, report the Daily Express.
Celtic are in a battle with West Ham for the centre-back’s signature.
Kent doesn’t want to leave
Ryan Kent is happy at Rangers and doesn’t want to leave for Leeds United, report the Daily Record.
The winger has been a key player for the Ibrox side already this season, netting twice in the league in four games.
Marcelo Bielsa is believed to be a fan and there are reports of an expected £10m bid.
Hearts would have stayed up with Levein
Former Hearts striker Conor Washington reckons the club would have avoided bottom place if Craig Levein and Austin MacPhee had remained in charge.
Rangers duo allowed to leave
Rangers will allow Jordan Jones and Jamie Murphy to leave Ibrox.
The pair are not in Steven Gerrard’s plans but will only depart if there acceptable bids, according to reports.
Ross McCrorie has already departed for Aberdeen, while Greg Docherty is set to leave for Hull City.
