Old Firm dealt Champions League blow
The hopes of an automatic place in next season’s Champions League were dashed on Thursday night.
Scotland need to finish 11th in the Uefa coefficients to all but secure an automatic spot.
However, they face competition from Turkey and Ukraine.
EPSN journalist Dale Johnson outlined the slim chances of that happening if Celtic, who have picked up one point from nine in their Europa League group, don’t reach the knockout stages.
Edouard tipped to leave in January
Odsonnne Edouard has been tipped to leave Celtic in January.
The Frenchman was linked with a number of clubs in the summer but with the only concrete interest coming from a German side.
Ex-England international Gabriel Agbonlahor reckons a move to the Premier League is on the cards.
He told Football Insider: “Celtic are a big club but are not going to be able to hold onto a striker like Edouard because, no offence to the Scottish league, it’s a good league, but strikers like that will want to go to prove themselves in the Premier League, in the top European leagues like Dembele did, a lot of players will do that.
“That’s something I’m sure will happen in January or the summer so they’ll want to make the most out of him before he does go."
