It's almost time. Just a couple more days until Scotland run out in Belgrade to face Serbia in the country's biggest fixture since Italy came to Hampden Park in a Euro 2008 qualifier.
Steven Clarke has been dealt a blow with Grant Hanley and Ryan Fraser dropping out of the squad through injury. Fraser’s injury is especially disappointing for the national team after building an understanding with Lyndon Dykes and John McGinn as a rambunctious front three. Yet, the Scotland boss has a number of options available to him.
On the domestic front, the Betfred Cup continues this week with games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday as teams look to secure their place in the knock-out stages while other just hope to come through the games unscathed.

Jack Wilshere will find it harder and harder to find a new club. The former Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a move to Rangers after leaving West Ham. 6. Dorrans links up with Miller
Ex-Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans has moved to Australia to join Western Sydney Wanderers. The former Scotland international left Dundee on Sunday and will now link up with former team-mate Kenny Miller who is the club’s assistant manager. (Daily Record)

7. Miko's Zal reveal
Ex-Hearts star Saulius Mikoliunas revealed Marius Zaliukas started to feel the effects of MND while he was still at Tynecastle. The Lithuanian winger said: “He told me maybe seven or eight years ago when he first felt the signs. He couldn’t hold his keys strongly. He felt it in his finger then went to see some doctors to find out what the problem was.” (Edinburgh Football Show)

8. McMullan turned down County move
Dundee United attacker Paul McMullan backed himself to succeed at the club after turning down a move to Ross County in the transfer window. The Tannadice star had discussions with Staggies boss Stuart Kettlewell but opted against a move north despite a lack of game time. (Scottish Sun)
