Neil Lennon named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for September after Celtic's 100% record
The Hoops were unbeaten in all competitions during September
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has been named the Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for September.
The Hoops posted victories over Ross County, St Mirren, Livingston, and Hibs.
A 5-0 win away to Ross County was followed up by a narrow 2-1 win at St Mirren. Livingston were then beaten 3-2 in Glasgow before a 3-0 home win against Hibs.
The award only covers league duty but during their four top-flight fixtures the Parkhead side scored 13 goals and picked up maximum points in the battle for the title.
Celtic also progressed in the Europa League by beating Latvian side Riga 1-0, and continued their winning run into October with another 1-0 win against Sarajevo in the Europa League play-off, and a 2-0 win at St Johnstone last weekend.
Lennon was named manager of the month on three occasions during the shortened 2019/20 campaign, winning the prize in August, November, and February.
