Neil Lennon hailed the signing of Shane Duffy as "a great bit of business" as the defender looks set to make his Celtic bow in a trip to Ross County tomorrow.

The Irish international made the switch from Brighton & Hove Albion on a year-long loan earlier this month.

The 28-year-old grew up supporting the Parkhead side and rejected interest from English Premier League clubs in order to join his boyhood heroes.

Lennon is impressed with both the player's ability and passion for the club.

He said ahead of the match in Dingwall tomorrow: “Shane will go straight into the squad. It’s a great bit of business by the club and great for the supporters.

“We’ve got a quality player that understands the ethos of the club and it’s important to have players like that in the dressing room.”
