With filming to take place over a number of months in 2021, Five Mile Films is looking for men, women and children of all ages who want a break from the ordinary.

An escape from social media, news and Zoom

Currently titled The Simple Life, the programme is seeking people who would be interested in living a slower pace of life than most in modern society.

The idea behind the show is to give people the experience of the “good life” fantasy, and to make participants and viewers reflect on what our modern life, and its multitude of choices, has really given us. The show will explore whether the idea of less is more.

So, if you’re willing to apply, say goodbye to your smartphone, Zoom calls, social media, Amazon orders, and doom scrolling through the endless news cycle, why not apply?

The filming of the series will take place over a number of months in rural Britain.

Who is eligible to apply?

The show is open to women, men and children of all ages.
