You can get paid £600 to taste test chocolate treats at home - here’s how
Have you ever dreamed about being paid to eat chocolate all day? Now your dreams could come true.
A company called Electric Piñata is on the hunt for an official bakery tester to try out all the latest treats dreamed up in the Piñata kitchen.
Electric Piñata specialises in treat boxes that are delivered straight to your door. Boxes include a variety of rocky road flavours, such as:
- White chocolate madness
- Smooth Biscoff
- Mint delicious
- Fluffy nutter
- Vegan deluxe
- Orangey chocolatey
You’ll be asked to review 12 boxes from the company. In exchange for your words of wisdom, you’ll be paid £50 per box, which adds up to a total of £600.
How to apply
If you’re interested in becoming a taste tester, you’ll need to take a picture of yourself indulging in your favourite chocolate.
Specifically, Electric Piñata is looking for people to live by the mantra ‘#PlayWithYourFood.’
Post your picture to Facebook or Instagram, using the hashtag #PlayWithYourFood, and don’t forget to tag @electric_pinata. From there, the company will choose the best picture.
“We will pick the snap we feel embraces the Piñata values of fun, friendly and colourful - and you will be our official bakery taster,” the company explains.
When does the competition close?
The closing date to get your pictures in is on Monday 30 November 2020 - any entries made after this date will not be counted.
The winner of the competition will promptly be announced on Tuesday 1 December.
Terms and conditions
As is standard for competitions such as these, there are some terms and conditions that you need to be aware of prior to entering. These are:
- You can only enter if you’re aged 18 or over and are a UK resident

- This is not an offer of full time employment - you will be asked to test 12 boxes, one per month, from now until next year
