Visit new look PizzaExpress in Leeds as chain reopens more outlets
Pizza lovers can take advantage of reopening PizzaExpress restaurants across the country, including one of the latest refurbished restaurants in Leeds.
PizzaExpress in Albion Place, in the heart of Leeds city centre. has recently been transformed as part of the brand’s new proposition to reflect the original vision of founder Peter Boizot.
This has been the PizzaExpress mantra since 1965 – to bring people together for good times and great pizza!
The open kitchen takes centre stage within the new restaurant, with a choice of different dining experiences inside, while the al fresco dining area reflects the vibrant city’s cosmopolitan vibes.
As with all the chain’s reopened restaurants, new safety measures are in place to add to guests’ and team protection, but are integrated carefully to blend in to the busy environment.
These include a more physically distanced layout, hand sanitiser stations, enhanced hygiene procedures and cleaning measures, along with regular health checks of team members.
The online booking service makes it easy to reserve a table, and a new digital menu and cashless payment have been introduced to assist and reassure customers.
Ashley Grove, restaurant manager at PizzaExpress Leeds said: “We’re really excited to be welcoming households back into our pizzeria.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our teams and customers and so far, the response to our new safety procedures in place has been fantastic.”
“Our customers can enjoy a wonderful experience in our new setting whilst enjoying delicious pizza and all of our menu favourites.
“We’re also offering a free drink with every main until September 30.”
Other outlets are open to customers as part of PizzaExpress’ phased reopening plan which has seen over 300 restaurants successfully resume dine-in, delivery and click-and-collect services across the UK.
The PizzaExpress teams have worked hard to implement robust measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of teams and customers in all reopened pizzerias.
Zoe Bowley, managing director at PizzaExpress said: “It’s been great to see customers begin to visit our restaurants once again. Our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure that all of our restaurants reopen safely and we’re very grateful for the way that all of our customers have welcomed our new procedures.
“While we might look a little different, our customers are enjoying their favourite pizzas again”.
