Grand Tour: Classic cars spotted on CalMac ferry as Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond head to Hebrides
Grand Tour stars Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are currently filming for their Amazon Prime series at locations around the Hebrides.
The former Top Gear stars and their camera crew – together with a Buick, a Lincoln and a Cadillac – boarded the CalMac ferry at Uig on Skye on Sunday morning and sailed to Lochmaddy on North Uist.
Filming took place on the beautiful Valley Strand on the north coast of North Uist on Monday.
Shooting also took place in the Highlands and Islands last week.
The series sees them travelling from Edinburgh to the Hebrides.
CalMac Ferries wrote on Facebook: “Over the last few days we had the pleasure of welcoming The Grand Tour on board the MV Hebrides heading to Lochmaddy as part of their upcoming Amazon Prime series.
“We wish Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond all the best with the show”.
