Fitba's Coming Home! Scotland fans give their reaction to the national team qualifying for the Euro 2020 Championships

Fans from around Scotland tell us what it means to qualify for a major football tournament for the first time in 22 years.

Some of Steve Clarke’s squad that triumphed in a nerve jangling penalty shootout in Serbia last night would be too young to remember France 98 but they created a memory that will live forever with the Tartan Army. The Scotsman caught up with some of the fans the morning after, Ian Watts from Glasgow decided “probably still drunk from last night” that it would be a good idea to run 23 times around Hampden, once for each year since the last tournament.

Matt Noble from Girvan was moved to visit the three Hampdens, “Fitba’s coming home, it’s just amazing, can’t wait for it” he said as he looked forward to supporting the team in their upcoming matches.
