Search for teenage boy who followed and hurled abusive sexual comments at 15-year-old girl in Scottish city
A teenage girl has been the victim of verbal sexual abuse after a boy follower her and shouted inappropriate comments at her in the street.
The girl, 15, was walking in Annandale Avenue and Americanmuir Road in Dundee at 3.40pm on Monday when a male youth approached her shouted abuse at her.
The boy followed her to Macalpine Road and continued to hurl sexual comments at her until the nearby Lidl store.
Officers are looking to speak with the male teenager involved in the incident.
Police Constable Mark Reid of Downfield Police Office said : “The girl was physically unhurt by the incident but extremely upset.
“We are keen to speak to a male youth described as being around 15-years-old, 5ft 10 inches tall, average build, with sunken cheek bones and eyes, dull light blonde hair which was a couple of inches long and brushed forward. He was wearing a short black quilted jacket which had stitching on it, along with black school trousers.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has information that will assist this investigation to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 2396 of 26 October, 2020 Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
