Body found in search for Scottish woman, 31, reported missing
A body has been found during a search for a Scottish woman who was reported missing from her home this weekend.
Concerns have been growing for Victoria Streight, 31, who was last seen leaving her home address in Wick, Caithness at about 7.30am on Saturday.
Police have since discovered a body in the town’s Murchison Street at about 12pm on Sunday.
While formal identification is yet to take place, Ms Stright’s next of kin have been made aware.
A police spokesman said inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.
