Free from internet connection and furnished with copper baths, the Lanrick Treehouses, found near Doune in Stirlingshire, are fully designed to help you ‘get away from it all.’

Husband and wife Simon and Louisa Dickson started building their dream project in February this year on the family farm.

Despite a few delays due to coronavirus, the treehouses are now open for guests to come and use for a holiday in nature.

"If you want to get away from it all for a bit, come here,” Louisa said, who has a background working in African travel.

"You can enjoy a warm bubble bath while listening to birdsong in the middle of this beautiful forest.

"It’s basic in terms of no wifi, but the treehouses are opulent inside and you can enjoy escaping from the busy world in great comfort.”

Here are some pictures and further information about the stunning wooden huts suspended among some of Stirlingshire’s woodland.
