Pandemic won’t prevent us remembering the fallen
The Garden of Remembrance will be open from Monday 26th October for the public to visit and pay their respects. All required COVID measures will be observed by staff and volunteers on site.
Coronavirus restrictions may have curtailed the normal ceremony at Edinburgh’s Poppy Garden but the Pandemic won't prevent us remembering the fallen.
Poppy Scotland head of fundraising Gordon Michie said: “We normally have about 500 people, but we managed to make it poignant and special for the people who came.
We have got a one way system in place for volunteers laying wreaths.”
All required COVID measures will be observed by staff and volunteers on site.
