Meet Santa Claus in Lapland

Have you always wanted to meet the real life Santa Claus? Well now’s your chance.

While travelling isn’t currently an option for many of us, the technology available today allows you to connect with Santa Claus in Finland using the internet. You’ll get the chance to talk to Father Christmas, asking him questions and learning all about his background in Lapland.

Pentti, the experience host, says that he has over 10 years of experience as Santa Claus, both at Santa Claus Village and for private Santa visits.

The online experience lasts 30 mins, and hosts up to 10 people. Alternatively, private groups are also available to book for up to 30.

You can join from your computer, phone or tablet, and prices start from £14 per person.

Sing Christmas songs with a Broadway star

What’s Christmas without some good old fashioned Christmas songs?

If you want to take your carolling to the next level, this online experience is perfect for you - you’ll get to sing festive songs with a real life Broadway star, who will share his top singing tips and tricks.

Stephen Carlie, the host of this experience, currently plays Scar in the Broadway show The Lion King, as well as having appeared in other West End shows, such as The Producers and The Phantom of the Opera.

Carlie will offer a Q&A session as well, also sharing his journey from growing up in a small village in the West of England to becoming a leading actor on Broadway.

The session lasts for 60 minutes, and has space for up to 10 people. Prices start from £39 per person, and you can book via Airbnb here.

Santa storytime with an award winning writer

Jesse Byrd is an award winning children’s book writer, and with this online experience he is offering a unique Santa storytime.

Byrd, dressed as Santa, will perform two storytime readings, cover to cover, of holiday classics.

His debut novel, King Penguin, garnered praise and even won awards at both the Los Angeles and Paris Annual Book Festivals. His two picture books, Sunny Days and Real Jungle Tales, also won awards as well.

The session lasts 60 minutes, and can host up to 10 people, or private groups up to 100 people.

Prices start from £5 per person, and you can book via Airbnb here.

Get festive with Mrs Claus

Now Father Christmas doesn’t have a monopoly on Christmas spirit - Mrs Claus can also get in on the action.

With this experience, participants will get the chance to talk to Mama Christmas herself, and she’ll read some classic short holiday stories.

During storytime, guests will be encouraged to engage with sound effects and singing. Mrs Claus will also play some classic carols live on her piano, with everyone invited to sing along.

Prices start from £16 per person, and you can book via Airbnb here.

Learn how to throw a holiday dinner party

If you’re cooking Christmas dinner yourself for this first time this year, or want to up your game from last year, this interactive experience is the perfect opportunity to learn how to throw the perfect Christmas dinner party.

Hosted by a professional chef, who has also appeared on the likes of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Home and Family on the Hallmark Channel, and on Martha Bakes, Theodore Leaf will walk you through the ins and outs of putting on a Christmas dinner party.

You need to provide the ingredients, but Leaf will take the reins from there, showing you the top chef tips and tricks to cooking, and hosting a Q&A as well.
