Airbnb recently announced that the home featured in the popular sitcom will be open to visitors for the first time.

Stay in the luxurious mansion

Sadly, only fans from the Los Angeles area can book one night stays at the house, which will cost $30 a night.

The listing, which is written from the perspective of Will Smith’s character of the same name, explains that guests will enjoy "my bedroom (great for naps), a full bathroom (great for spitting bars in the shower), pool area (great for dips), an outdoor lounge, and the dining room (great for eating obviously)."

Visitors will also get access to Will's closet and free meals, which will be "served on silver platters."

Those interested in staying in the house will be able to request bookings beginning at 11am Pacific Time (PT) on 29 September 2020.

30th anniversary

This announcement coincides with the 30th anniversary of the TV programme, which will be celebrated through a reunion special that will launch exclusively on HBO Max around Thanksgiving (26 November).

Airbnb posted on Instagram, “Love what you’ve done with the place @willsmith. 30 years since ‘The Fresh Prince’ rolled up to the show’s iconic LA crib, Will is opening the doors to his former kingdom for a limited time - only on Airbnb. The stay is available to Los Angeles County residents.”

Will Smith also posted about the opportunity to stay in the iconic house on his Instagram page, writing, "OOOO!! Y’all think we should rent out the @freshprince house?? We’re making it happen with the squad at @airbnb!! #FreshPrince30th".
