Eerie pictures show deserted Edinburgh streets hours before Scotland is plunged back into lockdown
A full lockdown will be introduced as of midnight 4th January in tier four areas in Scotland, the First Minister announced, as cases continue to surge across the country.
Ms Sturgeon said the new restrictions across Scotland would apply for the duration of January.
