Coronavirus in Scotland: In the last 24 hours another 740 cases have been confirmed in Scotland

Of 6,793 new tests for coronavirus, 12.3% of these were positive.

The number of deaths, hospital admissions and intensive care patients are not being revealed over the festive period – the next update will be on Tuesday, December 29.

This data comes on the second day of the three-week lockdown announced by the Scottish Government last weekend in a bid to control the spread of the new strain of coronavirus.
